This was a cool little project. Still needs some hands, as the cheap rubber Hasbro used in 78 perished long ago……

40!

Today I turned 40

Lets see what joys the next ten years bring

the last ten years gave me an extra daughter, a new career, a great idea for a series, debt, more debt then lots of debt, then no debt, a trip to the north, a trip back, a few holidays, a medical procedure, the loss of a nan, the rediscovery of many old friends once considered lost,

I’m sure the next ten years will be just as eventful. But I hope that in that time I will have settled a bit more, and perhaps wont need to pester HR depts for jobs for too much longer. Ha! Maybe they may even start to pester me! ;)

So……

Set up for a shoot and thought I would share a pic from it. This was the first time we had set up the system from Optitrack. With the awesome gear from them and equally awesome Manfrotto stands from my new friends at BogenImaging in Crawley (Greg, Vic and Louisa….you guys rock, but Im still waiting on your artwork ;) ) we were ready to do a test. I anticpated a morning for set up whilst working through the tutorial vids. Easy Peasy, lemon squeezy! We were up and running in no time, taking notes along

Newman Arms Pie rooms

How I missed this place is beyond me. It was my local whilst spending all those shitty wasted years at Nickelodeon…. But just popped up there with Robin and Tim from MPC and had the steak and Kidney pie to end all pies. Uber stuffed and happy to go back for more. Treacle steam sponge ws good, but not as good as mums.

THE best site in the world…..

I have found the best site / blog in the world. A man clearly cut from the same cloth as me and then some. This guy not only knows and loves his music but he has what can only be described as the best vinyl to digital rips going. I admire what he does and through his efforts I have started to listen to many of my old records again.

I even found myself in an old 2nd hand store today in Berick St, London and picked up two great pressings. Stanley Clarke School Days (which I only just noticed carries a dedication to L Ron Hubbard) and Maze: In concert, New Orleans.
