Well, looks like the kids found a new hobby!
Just a few days before heading back to school, Charlotte and Chloe head to Pinewood for a Mocap shoot for Bird Studios
Now, looking at the photo, who do you think is going to be a little monkey today?
Watch out! She’s gonna get ya….
Meanwhile, in the volume, Charlotte is getting top tips from Brian and Kerry, the seasoned pro’s
and suddenly its time to put them into action….
Is it a bird, is it a plane? NOOOO! Its Super Hedge!
Take that, Super Hedge…… your in big trouble now!
Anyway, the kids of course had a great time, running up and down pretendingto fly Kites and stuff…. I’m certain the kids at school wont beleive a word of it….. so here’s the proof! Looks like Centroid have worked with Children AND animals with great success this year!

Its been a funny old month…..
There I was, enjoying being at Pinewood….. working in one of the best Mocap stages in the UK… and all of a sudden I am thrown of balance by a chance meeting in soho with an old producer of mine…..
“What ya doin”, he says…
“Oh, just heading into Soho to have a chat with MPC about Mocap”… I reply
“Sounds fucking dull” he returns….
He leaves a long enough break so as to create a pause and then hits me with..
“Why not come on work with me?”
He then continues to lay on this description of a film he is on, with a director I have always admired, featuring a late actor who has died, raising the films cult status almost overnight!
Of course, he had me at the directors name… there was no need to lay it on quite so thick.
Anyway, I had to continue the rest of the day mulling over infinite pro’s and cons… Do I? Dont I? Worst case its only 3 months work? Mmmmmm, Back in Soho though, where you need to be? Thats a good thing….. right?
I really enjoy the energy and vibe of Pinwood as well… Its history, and the countless films that have shaped my career were made there…. so yes…. Lots of deliberating, and so last Thursday evening, I drove past the gates at Pinewood for the last time for a while. This Monday sees me heading back to a place I love, due to its infinite possibilities, and for once the notion of a two and a half hour commute is not bothering me in the slightest. Some nights you can spend more than that on the M25.
Im really looking forward to seeing the same faces on the train…. on the platform. Grabbing that steaming Tea on the Bridge with VDB, the quick dash around simply food in the evening… the occassional overnight at Dads, the new Laptop and the copious amounts I’ll get done on P-P, the fact that I get the chance to tap into the genius of a great director for a few months and hopefully come away from it all with a little more than I started off with….. AND THAT is key to my going back to Soho…. because it presents an opportunity to grow as an artist…
Still, leaving Centroid also means that I wont be able to work with a handful of cool guys there…. which is a shame, but never say never! Besides, I need to get Mike Hedges to do a few super commander floor crawls for me
ha ha ha

They re-released these bars a few years back, and then stopped them again.
