Jeremy Kyle sponsors cancel deal

Good.

This man is a fuck-tard. His general fuck-tardness is only surpassed by the fucktrads who’s causes he champions.

Lets hope he, like Kilroy vanishes into the cesspit of mediocrity from which he came came from, taking all his little red neck chav disciples with him in the process.

Retro Home Theater

|

So, its time to relax this weekend and avoid anything that involves a pixel. Even watching a film on DVD or laserdisc would be reliant on Pixel watching I supposse…. so it was time to get retro, clean the old super 8’s and 16mm projectors and look at some old skool home theater stuff.

These were from a Pre VHS time, when if you were a rich kid in the 70’s, you may have been lucky enough to have had a super 8 projector and abridged films.

If you were really really luck, you would have had full length features….

Well, we were not so priveledged back then, but sitting back this week and watching the full length feature of War Games across six 400 ft reels, I certainly had a wry little smile across my face.

This would have been killer in the eighties…. but now, its retro & Killer!

The good guys always won in the 80’s!

Finally getting too do some modelling again

No Pyramids…. no Mocap….. just me and some gentle R&R modelling

Some good diving in Selsey

|

This pic was taken on a recent dive…. I love the way these just manage to cling to whatever they can and survive. Awesome. They look amazing as well!

Ahhhh, to be a child of the 70’s!!!

As much as I hear the 60’s were great, I cant help but hold a nostalgic glint in my eye for the 70’s. I guess it may be because I was at my most impressionable age, that everything new kinda stuck in my mind and became the yardstick by which everything else was judged… This was an era when kids could go and see Jaws and Alien! Awesome.

But the toys and games are what really defined the decade.

From the everyday stuff like action man and Hornby to the simpler fair like Letraset Action Transfers….

Looking back, its hard to fathom what magic they held over us, but sure enough, I would sit for hours as I planned what should go where.

Funny, because now thats what I do, albeit a little more hi tech

These were just awesome….. and probably spawned my love of sci fi beyond my childhood…

Letraset kinda filled the void inbetween Christmas and Birthdays. It wasnt like it is now, with shitty kids demanding they get stuff all year round. Back then, if we got something it was a real big deal….

In between Birthdays and Xmas, one of the highlights was when the cereal packets came with free transfer sets. You just could not wait to finish the packet so you could carefully cut out the back and start rubbing!

And although not Letraset related, I have always loved this image, from the back of the early Star Wars figures
